Here are my picks of the newest shops to check out..
Anthropologie has finally arrived on English shores and these stores are huge, beautifully merchandised and a true inspiration. The one on King's Rd is housed in an old auction/antiques house and they have preserved the heritage features of the building. The Regent St store has a 'living wall' - a terrific three storey plant wall which is it's own eco system, right down to the mini spiders that live in the plants to control the mosquitos and other nasties.

Spitalfields Market ( a 5 min walk from Liverpool St tube) has had a redevelopment and now is home to trendy
boutiques and restaurants. Check out Agnes B and eat at Canteen for the quintessential school dinners lunch
poshed up - think jelly and custard and fish finger sandwiches. I loved this vintage industrial shop called Elemental
inside the market area.

Cheshire St, off Brick Lane, is a cool collection of little individual stores lined up in a row. My favourites
were Labour and Wait for traditional pre-war type cleaning paraphernalia and Shelf - a great stockist of
ceramics, cards and posters.

Around the corner is Redchurch St and the newly opened Albion. This is proper 'caff' serving up great
food and breads with a shop dedicated to British food. With the doors open on a warm day it makes for a
nice spot to rest your legs.
